Virginia Giuffre, the woman who accused the late sexual offender Jeffrey Epstein and Prince Andrew of sexual abuse, died for suicide, her family announced Friday.
“It is with completely broken hearts that we announce that Virginia died last night in his farm in Western Australia. He lost his life to suicide, after being a victim of a lifetime of sexual abuse and sexual trafficking,” said his family’s statement.
“The light of his life was his children Christian, Noah and Emily. It was when he held his newborn daughter in his arms that Virginia realized that he had to fight against those who had abused her and many others,” the statement continued.
Giuffre and Epstein resolved a civil lawsuit for $ 500,000 in 2009.

Giuffre had claimed that Epstein trafficked Prince Andrew, who, according to her, took advantage of her when she was under 18.
Prince Andrew had repeatedly denied the accusation and attacked the credibility and reasons for Giuffre.
Giuffre filed a lawsuit against Prince Andrew in 2021, accusing the royal royalty of sexually abusing her in the Manhattan mansion of Epstein and elsewhere in 2001, when he was less than 18, according to the complaint.

Prince Andrew agreed to resolve Giuffre’s demand for sexual aggression in 2022, without admitting that bad actions.
In 2015, Giuffre had also filed a civil lawsuit focused on accusations that Epstein’s lover, Ghislaine Maxwell, facilitated Giuffre’s sexual abuse and others.
Hundreds of judicial presentations of that case were revealed for a period of four years since 2019.
The morning after the first set of documents was revealed by a Federal Court of Appeals in 2019, Epstein died hanging in his prison cell in Manhattan, where he was detained awaiting trial for positions of child sexual trafficking and conspiracy. The New York Forensic doctor ruled that death is a suicide and an inspector general of the Department of Justice coincided with that determination.

Maxwell was sentenced in 2021 for five of six positions related to the abuse and traffic of minor girls and was sentenced to a 20 -year prison sentence.
Giuffre was not called as a witness during Maxwell’s trial, and Maxwell has constantly denied all irregular.
Maxwell appealed his sentence before the Supreme Court earlier this month, but the Supreme Court has not yet taken any measure.
