Heavy storms arrive on the east coast when Nor'easter goes to New England

Heavy storms are now arriving at the east coast when Nor’aster goes to New England before the holiday travel period for the weekend of the Fallen Day.

As a low pressure system from the Middle Atlantic moves to the sea, it will become a Nor’easter and advance along the New England coast.

On Thursday, this Nor’easter at the end of the season will bring a heavy rain of the wind in New England, including Boston, with wind bursts up to 50 mph and the potential for minor coastal floods.

The rain will soak the northeast on Thursday.

The soaking rain will probably come to Boston on Friday morning, but showers of showers are still possible on Friday afternoon until Saturday as the system continues north.

With remaining scattered showers in New England on Saturday, it will not be completely dry until Sunday, since total rain of 1 to 3 inches are expected for much of the northeast from Wednesday to Saturday.

The storms have also reached the east coast and, although the majority is not expected to be severe, some severe storms have been reported on Wednesday morning in the southeast.

Washington, DC, will have rains at 8 am, while electric storms are expected south of Richmond and Norfolk in Virginia.

In other places, Philadelphia awaits a rainy morning and New York City will have occasional showers during the afternoon, but today a washing is not expected.

Pennsylvania will be particularly affected by rain over the next few days.

Pittsburgh and southwest Pennsylvania are under flood surveillance until Wednesday night because 1 to 3 inches of rain is possible, which can create rivers, floods of streams and other low flood areas to saturate as urban areas may also experience flooding of excessive rains.

On Wednesday afternoon, some strong storms in eastern North Carolina are also possible and, during the night, they are possible strong storms in the south of Missouri and northern Arkansas.
