At least one person is dead after the severe climate came to Butler County, Missouri on Friday night, authorities said.
There were previous three -death reports due to the storm, but Robert Myers from the Butler County Emergency Management Agency confirmed to ABC News that there was some lack of communication in the field and when comparing notes with the Sheriff and the Forensic.
Emergency management is working on damage now this morning, but Myers said that daylight will give them a better idea of the amount of destruction.
The Black River Coliseum opened as a refuge and Myers said that there are people with injuries in nearby hospitals but did not have an exact number.
Millions of Americans throughout the country are on alert for a severe climate outbreak such as violent and long -track tornadoes with harmful winds up to 80 mph and great hail is expected throughout the west and south as the background storm moves to the east.
There is a rare high -risk warning issued by violent tornadoes in Mississippi and Alabama on Saturday afternoon and until the night.
So far there have been 23 tornadoes reported during the night in four states: Missouri, Arkansas, Illinois and Mississippi as the severe climate outbreak continues until Saturday. The winds raised more than 80 mph causing damage in the west from Missouri to Wisconsin.

Tornado watches remain in force for parts of five states, from Alabama to Ohio, since the storm pushes east on Saturday with winds of more than 70 mph winds in some areas.
The storm prediction center said that numerous significant tornadoes are expected, some of which could be long and potentially violent and that cities in high -risk areas include Hattiesburg, Jackson, Tuscaloosa and Birmingham.
The most dangerous tornado threat should begin on Saturday morning until the early hours of Louisiana and Mississippi before extending to Alabama late in the afternoon of the night, followed by west Florida Panhandle and west of Georgia until Saturday night.
Severe storms are expected to be weaker on Sunday, since storms arrive at the east coast from Florida to the middle Atlantic.
The harmful winds, the great hail and the brief tornadoes on Sunday afternoon will be possible for the southeast, while the heavy rains and the harmful threat of the wind will arrive northeast on Sunday night at night.
The severe climate outbreak is part of an important storm system through the country that also causes the danger of fire and the warnings of the red flag in the plains.
